- You have recently been in the sun/sunbeds or using fake tan
- You have skin pigmentation disorders such as melasma or vitiligo
- You suffer from epilepsy
- You have a history of keloid formation/scarring
- You suffer from lupus
- You have a darker skin tone (Fitzpatrick 6 or more)
- You have red/ginger hair
