What To Expect

YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

Your treatment plan starts with a consultation appointment. You do not need to shave anywhere before this.

During this consultation we discuss the treatment area you wish to have the hair removed from and perform a "patch test" on your skin with the laser. We do this to ensure your skin doesn't have any adverse reaction to the laser (this is very rare).

You will be required to pay for your first treatment or a package at this point and we will then schedule your appointment to have the first session of treatment. This appointment must take place at least 48 hours after to ensure you haven't had any issues with the patch test (this is extremely rare). We will schedule this with you before you leave.

YOUR SECOND APPOINTMENT

This is when your treatment begins.

Please ensure that you shave the selected area before treatment but DO NOT WAX. The root of the hair must be present in the follicle for the laser to identify it, so avoid waxing, epilating, use of depilatory creams or anything that might disturb the hair follicle. Instead, shave the treatment area 14-24 hours before your appointment.

We will conduct the first session of treatment by applying a layer of gel over the area then hold the laser machine very closely to the skin to target the hair follicles. Treatment times vary depending on the size of the area being treated so expect 10-15 mins for smaller areas and 30-45 mins for larger areas like legs, back etc.
